November

18th November 2016

This week in 3DO, we have been investigating multiplication and how this can link to division. Next week we are going to continue with our investigations. Additionally, we have also been learning about how to create imagery using poems. Today we published our poems and we are all so excited for these to be displayed around the school.

Here are some poems written by pupils in 3DO:

Autumn - By Thomas

I saw a sign of Autumn

Yellow and read leaves.

Bare trees swaying in the calm wind.

I hear a sign of Autumn.

Orange leaves rustling in the icy wind.

Prickly hedgehogs snuffling in the morning sun.

I feel a sign of Autumn.

Quiet breeze tickling my chubby cheeks.

Wet raindrops fall from my freezing nose.

Autumn - By Jack

I saw a sign of Autumn.

Orange and Brown and Red leaves.

Brown trees swaying in the bitter wind.

I hear a sign of Autumn.

Brown leaves rustling in the cold wind.

Prickly hedgehogs snuffling in the whistling wind.

I feel a sign of Autumn.

Strong breeze tickling my warm cheeks.

Watery raindrops on my hot nose.

I saw a sign of Autumn - By Murray

Red crunchy leaves gliding to the ground,

As if they were wearing parachutes.

When the leaves fall, Autumn comes.

You can smell the smoky bonfires,

Burning in the breeze.

Just feel the wind blowing past your cheek.

It's Autumn time.
