Welcome to Duxford (C of E) Community Primary school website. Our school is situated to the south of the university city of Cambridge in a small village next to the famous Duxford Imperial War Museum and Airfield. Our school serves Duxford, including Heathfield, and the villages of Hinxton and Ickleton.
We are a voluntary controlled Church of England school, belonging to the Ely Diocese and have close links to our local church as well as being part of the local and wider community. We have a wonderful PTA, a breakfast and after school club (DX) and a pre-school on site.
The school is set in spacious grounds, enabling the children to have excellent play spaces, sporting opportunities, access to our own wildlife area and an outstanding garden area which is a valued curriculum space.
We expect our children to leave us as confident, creative and independent thinkers who have been given as many learning opportunities as possible for their intellectual, spiritual, physical and social growth.
